Our Story
Taani is a team of weavers, designers and craftspeople that bring to you a new wave of the small venture started in 1978 by the one who knows it best, our grandfather. It is a celebration of our craft, the exquisite and rare tweed textile. We create cosy textiles for apparel and furnishing.
Values
We are a month old to a 42 year old enterprise and a hundred thousand meters of fabric. To support the small family business ecosystem, we have embraced the existing small-scale production system, believe in fair wages for workers, and healthy working condition.Sustainability
Sustainability is essential to our ethos at Taani. We use recycled yarns to manufacture cloth at the mill. We take pride in the matter of how our ancestors have instilled the concept of sustainability within the firm from the very beginning and we pledge to take it forward. This still applies today with due deliberation of the materials used, and the limitations it has, most importantly.
